To date, I was waiting for the other two items. I
called and called, inquiring as to the status of my order. Each time
I got the bull line, run around. It's back ordered, it was sent out
a few days ago, it'll go out in a couple days. Today, finally, after
much persistance on my part, I was told that they neglected to hold
back those parts for me, and they could have'em to me next week.
Another line of BULL? I say not! I canceled the order. Now, I wait
and see if I get proper credit!

What are your opinions on these? The benefits
of course would be cleaner oil because the stock 1600's had no oil
filtration system. For a while, these new longblocks came with
hydraulic lifters and they came with the spin on filters. I guess
for some reason, they don't come with hydraulic lifters anymore.

Hi, I was putting all new bearing grease seals around my 72 super and
while ordering through RMMW I noticed that they had an axel seal kit
for older model bugs. But in this kit they had paper gaskets that
looked exactly like the size and shape of the rear bearing covers on
my super beetle, so I'm now very confused. Besides the rubber seal
inside the bearing cover, am I supposed to have those paper gaskets
in between?.. I took one side off so far and found no gaskets. This
may have been a mistake from a previous job or maybe there's not
supposed to be any. Well... anyway I bought thin gasket paper and
was planning to make my own. Please anyone that knows the correct
setup here please interject.
Thanks
